Therapy in person, by video or in a hybrid setting
Psychotherapy sessions can take place in person at my practice in Cologne, by video or in a hybrid setting. We discuss which format is appropriate for your individual circumstances.

Psychotherapy can also take place entirely by video. During our first few consultations, we discuss together whether treatment exclusively by video is appropriate from a clinical and therapeutic perspective.
Within Germany, video sessions can be offered to people with statutory or private health insurance, those eligible for Beihilfe and those paying for their own treatment. For private health insurance, reimbursement terms depend on the individual insurance plan; for Beihilfe, they depend on the applicable Beihilfe rules.
Video consultations take place through a certified video service that meets data protection requirements and uses end-to-end encryption. The content of our conversations can neither be accessed nor stored by the video service provider. Sessions are not recorded.
To take part, you need a stable internet connection, a device with a camera, microphone and speakers, and an up-to-date web browser.
Equally important is a private space where you can speak freely and openly during the session.
Once we have arranged an appointment, I will email you a personal access link. At the agreed time, open the link directly in your browser and wait in the virtual waiting room until I start the session. You do not need to install any additional software or create an account.
